Jules Feiffer, Roz Chast, Frank Modell, Gary Trudeau, Peter Kuper, and Edward Sorel, masters of political and social satire, will discuss their individual work and the significant role of, and growing audience for, cartoons in the popular culture.
Readings from Feiffer’s works for the theater will be performed by Back House Productions, the resident troupe of the Drama Bookshop, directed by Thomas Kail. Feiffer, whose newest play, A Bad Friend, will open June 12 at the Mitzi Newhouse Theater in Lincoln Center, will be on hand to introduce the program.
