Cartoonists Salute Their Creative Best

Greg Evans, creator of the teen angst comic strip “Luann,” received professional cartooning's highest honor Saturday — the Reuben Award for Cartoonist of the Year.

The award was presented at the National Cartoonists Society's annual convention, held in Kansas City this weekend.

Jules Feiffer, cartoonist, author, playwright and screenwriter, was awarded the Milton Caniff Award for Lifetime Achievement.
